Not to be left out.

The paint job reminds me of old school Konas. And a bit of a ride by shooting!

The problem with this site is that I still have two bikes hanging around...

And my Charge that donated it's wheels to the London Rd.

That's not counting the two that are still in my Father-in-laws shed. I really need to have a purge.

The latest iteration of my 70s (?) Claude Butler frame - brought on by the gear cable sawing through the corroded frame lug. Banging in a spoke nipple as a cable run worked for a while, but I was looking for an excuse to go single speed as an experiment....

For flat commuting and mild hills - perfect for York!

Cheers,
Tom

How are you getting on with the flared handlebars? I can see the advantage of width for technical trails but for those I'd want to be fingers on brakes, have just ordered a set of FSA omega compact to replace my OEM

May I be rude in the extreme and ask how much a hand cycle like that costs?

I haven't ridden it yet... it is still out of the shed though. So you never know, it might venture outside soon!

It is - reduces strain on the shoulders and makes for a smoother more efficient stroke as you're not twisting your body.

Interesting, so on which section of the rotation do you produce power?

I.e. a foot on a pedal is pushed down, but you dont really pull up (clipped in)

on this do you push away and pull towards you to make the power?

It's like rowing rather than breast stroke, lets you use your core as well as your arms from what I can see.

Finally finished building my Klein today - a year-long project.

It's a mixture of Athena, Chorus, Record and Super Record 11sp
Speedplay Zero stainless pedals
Mavic CC SLS

I've only just done a short setup ride, but can't wait to go for a proper spin on it.

My winter ride (fixie) after a few more upgrades. Love riding this bike even on short 8/10%s.
