Cervelo S5 bought off MTN Qhubeka at the end of 2015, less than half price.
Was formerly ridden by Jaco Venter who is the South African road champion (though I was hoping to get Daniel Teklehaimanot's, as he's the same size). Based on rider history it went to the Veulta, and Tours of Oman & Qatar.
Purchasing it was a little dodgy as it involved giving someone in Africa some money on the vague promise that they'd send you a bike. To check it was legit I phoned the team up and ended up being put through to the actual team owner.
Spec is a little different from a standard S5 as it has q rings and a 3T bar and stem, ergo less aero than a standard model but 3T are a sponsor. The wheels are the wiggle own brand deep section rims, which have a pretty similar profile to a v expensive set of rims but cost half the price.

I looked at the S5 when I got my Dogma. Nice bike, great at climbing. For me the Pinarello just took it, but the S5 is a pretty bike.

Lovely bike - may I ask how you found out about the sale and how you went about it please?
The team put an advert up on their webpage, just a matter of emailing them and hoping. I don't know if it was first come first served or they had a draw I expect my odds were helped as less people will have been after a 58 frame.I found out about the sale from Cycling weekly or road.cc website. I had them on my Google News feed.
The Canyon sponsored team bikes are generally sold via their website.
