New bike day. Quite different to the outgoing 2010 Epic.

Did you have a 2010 stumpjumper before? What makes this so much better? I have a 2010 and keen to hear your opinion.

Sons new 24" bike - got the frame s'hand from a hire bike place in Scotland... hardly a mark on it. After some new wheels everything came off another bike so cost me nothing else. One very happy 8 year old.

My 2015 Felt Virtue 50, which gets absolutely hammered almost every weekend.
The only original parts left are the frame (although I have replaced the pivot bearings/bushings 3 times so far), the fork/shock, and the stem & bars.
It was originally 3x10 but I ditched the crappy triple and went down the route of a 1x10 with raceface n/w 34t chainring, and medium cage XT shadow+ clutch mech, which works fab with the kmc lightweight chain (not a single dropped chain in 2 years, and no chain retention device fitted).
Wheels are hope hubs/rims with 2.35 nobby nics (it's a 29'er), brakes XT 180mm f/r rotors, crank bros seat, and I ditched the dropper post for a lightweight Thompson elite post.
It's a fast old beast, and nice to ride something I don't see many of (not sure why Felt are so rare over here).

Picked up my new Trinity Pro1 this morning, had my Retul fit put onto the bike but will need some fettling before the season starts. Plan to do a few 70.3s mid summer and a long distance late summer early Autumn, looking forward to turning the cranks in anger on what should be a proper missile.

TRON bike!

Everyone is posting nice bikes...

I'm going to have to lower the tone by posting my skip bike (sans wheels), and my £5.19 wheel set (inc cassette!).

Will get a photo over the weekend biggrin

I now have two station bikes....

What the feck... That is one seriously awesomely mega looking bike you have there mate (expensive too!)

Dare I guess how much? I hate you, I now no longer think my bike is good looking (joke @ hate usage)

:-)

EDIT
Just googled the model. My guesstimate wasn't far off, bet it's worth every penny. I guess if you are at the level where such a bike is warranted/needed, tis not a massive amount of money for what you get out of it. That is the only bike that has "turned my head" (apart from my own, entry level trek) and grabbed my attention! I would love to have a ride on a bike at that price point to see the (massive!) difference.

:-)

Thanks Pacman, it's not really a looker though is it, but then again form should follow function. Colour scheme wise I was pleased it matched my choice in other light fast missiles.

I doubt it will get used until April, but happy to report back on 10 mile TT times early season and how it compares to the DA4 it replaced.

Wow. Bloody hell. I didn´t realise GIANT were doing the whole front end storage/nutrition/hydration thing, like Scott and Canyon.

That is a seriously impressive piece of speed weaponry.... Enjoy.
