What bikes do you all have?
P.S. Can we have this as a sticky please?

I just realised the bike is now over 10 years old! I still have her in the garage and she's still going strong, albeit with upgraded gears, and overhauled brakes. The wheels however need replacing as they are totally bent, but she still goes well.
Amazing how time flies. Even my roadie is over 6 years old!
It depends what you want from it, if it's a keeper and your bike you'll keep forever a touch-up paint job on the repair could be tolerable and add character. If you're looking to preserve value and sell on in time, a significant repair might kill it anyway.
I elected not to have my frame painted after the repair so it has a prominent black patch badge of honour. I thought I'd build it back up and ride it a bit before deciding if it still feels special enough to me to get it painted, but it's completely worthless now I guess given the kind of repair it had and it's non-specialness to start with.
I also broke my arm before I finished building it back up again so it's waiting for that to heal first.

If I had it repaired I'd want it to factory finish and pretty much spot on.
Tracking down a matching stay would be a job in itself then it's finding a painter who can do it justice.
Colnago did a Master with carbon b-stays, maybe you could fit those, although it might have to be chain stays as well.Tracking down a matching stay would be a job in itself then it's finding a painter who can do it justice.
At least you wouldn't have to paint them.
Having been sat groupset-less for a couple of months due to a house purchase I was finally able to more or less finish my build. My LBS fitted Sram eTap Wifli for me and finished all the other bits off. Shout out to Kinetic Cycles in Hitchin for the good price and free fitting.
Next jobs; bike fit, plain black bar tape and carbon wheels to lose that alloy brake track.
