Do you think your cables (all of them) might be a little bit too long?
Actually the only one that isn't too long is the gear cable.
I shortened the dropper cable a little and will do it a bit more at some point, but the brakes are Avids and having bled them numerous times and rebuilt the rear lever I simply haven't got the energy or enthusiasm to cut the hoses and bleed them again!

Thanks, its a 2014 Cervelo P3 with full 11sp ultegra groupset, the crankset is a Rotor 3df with a power2max power meter. The brakes a magura hydraulic rim brakes which are awesome, so much better than normal TT brakes, and more aero to boot. The new wheels are just some fairly cheap chinese carbon imports, but they roll well, and are much more aero than my training wheels.

Still a couple of things to do before I'm entirely happy. I want to shorten the hydraulic hoses and re-route the rear hose. But that requires to magura bleed kit. I also need to get some behind the saddle bottle mount sorted too. Its mostly used for triathlon so I need the extra bottle storage!

Finished this on the weekend and ride it today at the Triscombe DH trails. It's awesome. So light and nimble, and the narrow-wide chain ring with clutch mech was faultless. Perfect bike right now. It's due a shock swap shortly to a kashima RP Fox Float son it'll drop a bit of weight. But it's awesome as it is anyway.

I like that.

What size is the front chain ring, maybe 36T? Is it a 10 speed cassette? Considering going 1x10 with clutch mech myself (have a 2x9 at the moment - 32/22T and 11x34T) but I don't know what size front chain ring to get for a balance between getting up the steep stuff and having the "top end" (so to speak).

Cheers, it's pretty awesome.

It's a 10spd setup with a 34t chainring and an 11-36t cassette. X9 type 2 mech and a Works Co narrow-wide ring. Chain didn't drop on an afternoon of DH at Triscombe and I managed to ride everywhere I needed to.

You can always go down to 32 or even 30T up front if you need more climbing capability.

Thanks for the info. I think 34 is about right as I have seen other bikes coming from manufacturers with similar set ups. I could be tempted to go down to 32 though to make climbing a bit easier!

My bike is the shiny one on the right. Sitting above Loch Leven on a sunny day in March.

I'm a big fan of Orange. It's weird how riding groups seem to synchronise, most of my riding friends have specializeds, and yours clearly like Oranges.

I'll be honest, I think I prefer the Oranges!

I know, two Alpines and a Five that day. Cracking riding up that way and the Alpine laps it up.

Just the bar tape to do.. Set up to the same geo as my six on which I had my fit.. As the stretches I'm doing start to help I'll flip the stem round 'the right way', but would rather be comfy than cause my shoulder to ache as was the case before my fit!

Sweet Parlee!!
maybe you should remove the Enve decals and leave them off, or do what i did and replace with satin black decals.

First quick test ride out after it arrived in a huge box on Friday. Loving it so far but yet to push it any where near its capabilities.

Non technical details = Very nice (and expensive)
Big wad of jealousy
