Its only taken me 2 years of procrastinating, 4 weeks of painting, a day of cleaning and de-painting and sanding threads and mounting holes, and a day of spannering...

But I've finally turned this:



via these:







into this:




Just needs shifters, a chain and grips to finish off. I have some nice hydro brakes ready to fit, but need a set of mounting bolts

The wife picked up my new CX Bike... shame I won't be there till xmas to ride it!

I always fancied a lefty , it's very well made , rides nice and its something different , try it u might like it .

Love that, and woud love one for tooling around on but they never sell the hub-geared version in the UK and low maintenance would be one of my main reasons for buying one.

I just like unusual bike stuff like cargo bikes and trailers. I probably wouldn't have one of these as my only bike but to add to the collection...

Looks good and i bet it took for what felt like an eternity to complete but the BB looks really high and the forks really slack, is that how it always was?

I think it looks odd because the forks are much longer than originally intended:
