Only a couple of rides old... stem will get cut down when I've got the riding position sorted out.

Very nice, but is the frame too small for you? That's a lot of seat post protruding.

The saddle is a bit high in that shot. I did give the frame size, small or medium, a lot of thought as I could ride either size, in the end I rang Cotic. They said very definitely a small frame, so went with that as they should know. It feels just about right out of the box with a 50mm stem. They do say on the website expect to need a long seatpost.....

Moda Forte track bike, found it on ebay and got a bit of a bargain, absolutely immaculate and well spec'd. The wheels new alone are more than I paid for the bike and postage. Off to Newport next Friday night then....

That's lovely - I have a Moda prima but unfortunately minus the American Classic wheels.. keeping an eye on ebay

Thanks, there is a good second hand market for entry level track bikes so there should be plenty around. LFGSS forum is worth keeping an eye on too though its obviously London/SE centric.

You got the same wheels I just took off my De Rosa! Nice looking bike. Can you not pedal it well then?

Mine aren't the cyclocross version though wink

Work/life commitments means I've been cycling less and got out of shape vs this point last year. Not massively worried about it although I did 50 miles this week with someone on a zone 2 ride and could only just keep up.

Still fifty miles though.

You need the cx versions... double sealed hubs without a weight penalty :-)
