Still building up, spec as currently stands:

Brakes: Dura-ace, plus direct mount rear
Wheels: Enve 6.7 clincher with Chris King hubs
Bar / stem: Enve ses bar & stem (stembshould be 110 and with black logos, not yet received). Also had to leave 5mm of spacer to avoid da junction box fouling on frame
Cages: Arundel
Saddle: fizik curve
Cranks: rotor 3d+ 165mm 52:36 Q rings. Again, bit let down here, should he on Rotor dn powercranks. 53:39 q-rings currently being powder coated and custom black vinyl added (match wheels).

Cheers, fancied something a bit different to the blacked out stealth look of my Madone 7. The handling on it is immense. All very subjective, but it appears to carry much more cornering speed and less twitchy than the Madone. Early days but I think the Madone edges it on the climbing though (bit of a bummer as the Parlee is my take away to the Alps & Canaries bike). I'm pretty sure the wheelbase is shorter on the Parlee, and its probably a few hundred grams heavier which might contribute to smoother handling.Spent quite a bit of time considering what to get, had considered a Moots and at one stage was veering to a Passoni (but 15k + explaining to wife killed that). As most rides for me are 50-70 miles, comfort was a lower consideration so decided to stick to aero optimized road bikes (suprising the spread of handling characteristics between this, the Madone and AiR I also use).
Bought this Rose Pro SL-2000 a month ago but only just finished making some modifications prior to its first outing:
- Reynolds Assault carbon clinchers
- Specialized Turbo (S-Works) 24mm tyres
- FSA Energy Compact Wing Pro bars
- Specialized Romin saddle
- Shimano 105 carbon pedals
Hoping to get out this weekend for a long ride and will report back.

I keep on saying to SWMBO that i should get out with them as they're literally at the bottom of my road but have never gotten around to it : tend to ride with my guys on a sunday, or on my own on a saturday!
These bikes look amazing & I've just ordered myself a Merida cyclocross 500, compared to these machines it's more likes beginners bike ! As its my first drop handlebars cycle since I had my Raleigh arena when I was 14 !!!! I'm already getting bitten by the cycle bug before I've even ventured out on the new steed

Wow, some nice machines there.
Can you tell me some more about this please? What is it like comfort wise etc. I'm considering the current S3 as my first bike because it's the only bike I really like the look of.
Thanks. The bike in question is a 2012 S5 Team, running Dura Ace 7970 di2 with Zipp 808s and 3T Zefiro hybrid road/TT handlebars. It's a completely uncompromising speed machine - zero vertical compliance. It's not the best-handling bike in the world, either - the front end's not really stiff enough, and with the bars and wheels I've chosen it doesn't really like changing direction. It's fairly heavy, too. This is a 58 frame and the all-up weight as shown, with pedals, is about 7.8kg. The headtube is pretty long, as well - hence the -17deg stem. As a TT and Regent's Park bike, it's matchless. As a bike for Hertfordshire lumps and bumps, or Alpine climbs, well, not so much - which is why I have the R5Ca (which is 6.1kg as shown and handles like a dream). Can you tell me some more about this please? The current (2015) S3 is supposed to be a good compromise between the aero character of the S5 and the comfort of the R5 (it's effectively a beefed up S3 front end attached to an R5 rear). It would be high on my list if I needed one bike for all purposes, alongside the Giant Propel and the Look 795. The latest S5 is supposed to be stiffer, lighter and better handling than mine, but I suspect it's still a pretty uncompromising ride.

Stongle : were you leading a club run this morning by chance? Some of the sidcup boys rode past me on sidcup high st. with a chap on a camo-esq parlee on the front!

Yep, that would have been me. I hope there are not too many people running around on Camo ESXs, AFAIK the only others are Z-Zero or Z5s. I’d normally be on a Madone (pic included to keep with thread):I keep on saying to SWMBO that i should get out with them as they're literally at the bottom of my road but have never gotten around to it : tend to ride with my guys on a sunday, or on my own on a saturday!
so less likely to be noticed.
As to the club runs, 2nd claim membership is 10-12 quid, so if you are looking to get out occasionally might be worth looking at (although they let you try it for a bit to see if its for you – I’d recommend this). Its Club run speed (emphasis is firmly placed on “Club”) so 18mph av over 50-60miles of rolling terrain (so rides generally include a bit of the North Downs). The other groups range from 12-16mph average. I'll drop you a PM.
As a total biking newbie, please forgive if I am now 100% clued up on the spec, however I picked up my new Cube Attention today after not having a bike for about 5 years. I am hoping to get a full summer of use out of it in and around the lakes and Yorkshire, so if anyone can recommend a good couple of routes to help get back into it then I am happy to listen!
