Just arrived...my first full suspension bike, also the most expensive. To say I'm excited is an understatement.

N+1 arrived today but I won't be able to take it out until Friday at the earliest as the tubs need to be glued on frown

Still to change the saddle, put my pedals on, dial in the seatpost height & bars plus fit the tubs

First road bike after a life time of mountain bikes. Also first time using cleats, only managed 10 miles (due to work and weather) only fell off once

The paint's certainly different, it has a rubbery feeling to it. No chance of me getting a highly polished shine here

Stunning!

Really subtle with great lines (but I'm a bit biased wink )

Enjoy thumbup

Took delivery of this last week...

Haven't gone far with it yet but I'm rather pleased with it.

Must have been tricky with no pedals.

Haha! It has pedals on it now but the picture I have of it with the pedals on it also shows the bag thing I have on my crossbar so didn't want to post that for fear of ridicule.

So many un-level saddles and titled bars on here - SORT IT OUT PEOPLE!
Daft thing to say.

Two of my bikes have Brooks saddles on them, tilted slightly backwards, which I have found to be the most comfortable (after many 1000km)

My TT bike has a Specialized Sitero triathlon saddle which, again, after many KMs, seems to be the most comfy position for my biffon.

And what the heck is a 'titled bar'? One with an MBE?

I don't care if it's faster like that.

I'd NEVER have that position. Just train harder! biggrin Ascetics matter! laugh

Must limit manoeuvrability too at speed confused

No.

But I do know what aesthetics means biggrin

Of course, it might have been obvious that it was a typo. This isn't a sodding English exam.

But hey, gold badge for you. Which is all that matters isn't it...

Afternoon all, just bought this over the weekend to get back into riding. I appreciate its at the budget end of the spectrum but IMO, a really well equipped bit of kit for the price. A few test rides have done nowt but put a smile on so far!

Looks very similar to mine, same colour too; what model is it?
I have a 2015 Pinnacle Ramin One as my only bike and have done commuting, canal paths, a few more challenging off-road bits and everything in between so far.
Still goes well after 1400 miles too!
Very simple and a good all-rounder IMO.

Hi all,

After using my 2012 Boardman Hybrid comp for a while now, I decided to purchase my first Carbon bike, After reading positive reviews, I found this Ribble R872 at a great price on Gumtree. Cant believe how light it is! and seems beautifully made, Looking forward to getting used to it.

It's a 2016 Jarrah. The Ramin is the next model up but the frames appear very similar. Glad to hear good things about the brand as there isn't much out there review wise.

The manager of the bike shop where I bought mine used one as his ride to work and general daily duty bike and had put about 3k miles on his without issue. I thought that was a pretty decent recommendation.
