Simple seat was the back of an old office chair bolted to the original seat post. smile
To clear my knees the handle bars have to be so high you can do your own Charlie Sheen joke.

So with no gears....

...no brakes....

...and failcam' in place....

...I managed a whole six-ish feet.

This is a bit heavy....

So I've had a bit of a re-think and come up with this....

I'll get the grinder out later and move the brackets and support bars to the bottom of the triangle. wink

Edited to add correct picture.

Hopefully failcam' will record the whole event and Youtube can have another snuff clip.

The gauntlet has been thrown for the next project, Easter deadline and nudity as a motive. I'll start another thread about that later.

This is the final day for the project and I was feeling confident. I made a new set of bars out of gazebo pole.....

.....two problems with Gazebo poles, the plastc coating makes welding a messy business and they're so soft this happens....

...so one of the old support braces has been cut and welded into place.

As soon as it cools failcam' will be back in action.

Just to let all the cycling fans know the bike no longer exists. The Marin is now a parts donor again. wink
