I've upped my 'game' if anything. I've started riding just over 10 miles into central London and back each day meaning over 20 miles a day and over 100 per week. Even in the last week I've actually lost weight going from 64kg to 62kg. I'm still cycling in shorts too despite the cold temperatures...

Not tight at all Rob. I will admit to having cold extremities (ahem) but I'm in desperate need of some decent gloves

Just buy some ski gloves. Ignore all that bks about "skinsealz are the best!!", because they're not. Ski gloves > everything else.

My ride from East London to Brighton today was a bit of a killer. Had plenty of layers etc on but was still bitterly cold - especially the feet as the only bit of kit I dont have are overshoes (which I am now going to buy tonight)..

The ride up the beacon was a bit of a sod as well. The cold air really bites ones lungs.

Still, not a bad way to spend a Sunday. Also, it only cost £3.75 for a single back to the smoke.
