Anyone doing Beach to Beach for Asthma UK?

The missus and I have signed up for this and it looks a reasonable challenge. It's also a good cause.

Looks like a nice little event, as my wife & both kids suffer with asthma I may well do this.

There are over 75 people registered already. They can cope with up to 250. Should be good fun with the Sunday looking like the harder work... over the South Downs.

My info pack arrived last week and I will start badgering people for sponsorship in the new year.

Minimum £250 sponsorship? I know it's for charidee but even so...

That should be easy to raise for a two day ride. I expect my employers will sponsor me at least that much. Suppliers will cover twice that and some, friends and family will probably stump up £100.

Hopefully I will break a grand.

Most people I have told about it are non cyclists and are stunned at the prospect of riding 140 miles in two days.
