road/mtb hire in Las Vegas

I know this is a long shot..

I'll be in Vegas for ~6 weeks and would like to have access to a bike for at least some of the time.

Has anyone come across a hire shop with decent bikes at a reasonable cost?

I typed "Las Vegas bike hire" into google and got loads of results. They all included rates and types of bike available.

I assume you tried that?

I did try that and a bucket load came up, hopefully looking for real life recommendations, would much prefer a reasonably high end machine.

I assume it's a work related trip - can you not bribe the loadies or someone in logistics with chocolate digestives and get your own bike flown over?
