Accurate?
....ish. Doesn't really matter though as they will give you a relative reading over time and you should be able to see progress.

Just post a picture of yourself in your underpants in The Lounge with the title "Am I fat?". The answers you get should be pretty accurate. smile

I know I'm not fat I just have needless muscle for a cyclist.

More or less anything above the waist is just balast. However, I enjoy swimming and am not looking - or able - to win the Tour de France so am happy to carry a bit of "superfluous" bulk. Like most things in life it is about balance I guess.

Anway, bought the Pina yet? wink

Possibly not, no. There's a good reason pro-cyclits are built as they are. See Andy Schleck below.

Well, The real training is beginning this weekend!

I've lost a stone, so I should imagine I can sort the weight thing without to much issue (to those in the fat fighters thread, take note, sopt fking around with diets and do something), just the miles now!

Just working out what kit I might need to buy hehe

Whats up with the BMC ?

Surely you could splash some money on a better set of rims rather than a new bike ?

I find it works best if you cultivate the tan lines to show it off to it's max potential, like this:

Most likely or it is on it's way out, you have been using it in all weathers, cheap to replace so may as well get it done.

Seriously though get some better wheels and you could save decent amount of weight over what you have and transform how it feels.

You mean the bracket could be on its way out? Yeh all weathers, about 4k miles.

Silly question, but I'm not familiar with these new BB's, do you know of the tools and a guide that can show me how to change them?

I am assuing it has a press fit BB ?

If you plan on changing plenty then invest the money in the specic tools, from pedro or park tools but for the hassle of £25.00 your LBS can do it for you ?

Plenty of guides on you tube I have a couple of books that show you how to do it and it will take about an hour.
