My friend is a bit fat but spends thousands on his bike buying tiny weight improvements. He could easily shave 2/3 stone from his body.

It's often not about improving performance but more about just trying to make a really light bike with nice looking bits on it.

I do have the nice bike... it is just gravity is not currently my friend!
