what do we think to these?

seems you can pick this lad http://www.amazon.co.uk/Beto-Airflow-Turbo-Trainer... up off ebay for 50 quid inc del.

Cheap way to rack up the miles? or a waste of space?

waste of time. cheap turbo trainers will flex the second you put any sort of power through them. cheap trainers are also really noisy. you might think, how noisy can they be but you would be surprised, the noise is bad when you are riding it but it also goes through the floor and walls. Inevitbaly the components will be cheap quality and likely to fail. truly, you need to be looking around the £150 price btracket at the Tacx sirius before you get to anything worth riding for a period of time.
