Which are they? Grey are middle float,
Are red no float?

Red are 9 degrees from memory, grey have some float plus grippy bits to stop you falling on your arse

black = 0, grey = 4.5, red = 9

all are available in grip variant with the bits to stop you falling over (as easily)

I'm having knee issues, do you think red cleats might be a good idea? Do you lose anything by having more float? What's the point of having none at all?

700cX28 Conti Gator Hardshells turned up too today. Gonna fit them tomorrow. My Maxxis Detonators don't come out too well in reviews but I've actually enjoyed the way they roll. They're wearing thin so I'll put the Contis on and keep the exploders for emergency spares.

To line up the logos or to spread them out? In this instance, I favoured the latter:

P.S. Chariot does a "baby sling" which looks interesting. Everyone is over-protective of their babies, and we were the same but I'm quite impressed with this. In a softly sprung Chariot, it might be OK. 11 weeks sounds a bit too young though.
We had our second in a Chariot with a sling from 12 weeks. Just set the suspension to the softest and lower the tyre pressure. If you are really worried, go slower and chuck some schwalbe big apples on.

less float is theoretically more efficient because you're not wasting energy 'skating' on the pedal. It can be bad for your knees though, and people with knee problems are always advised to go for as much float as possible to prevent torsional stress on the knee ligaments.

So yeah, reds would be highly recommended

A pair of lake cx211 triathlon shoes to go with my recently purchased look keo classic pedals, in red with grey cleats.

Smashing, they should be here in the next few days.
