I will be attempting triathlons.
Got a very good deal via sportpursuit.com so it was significantly less than the £170 in the shops. The only annoying thing is that I have to buy the visor seperately, but a quick google and found that quite cheap as well.

The helmet itself is a really good fit, so looking forward to the benefits..

I can't confirm the result of wking onto an inner tube, but i suspect he's right.
They might get you home (50% hit rate) but next time you get the bike out, it'll be flat. Just fix em the old fashioned way and be done with it =)

Hmm. I've been using them (and the similar "Leeches") since the late 90s, and find them to be excellent. Of course not as good a proper patch, but good for temporary repair.

I have only bought them as get home fix as I have some small leavers and a tiny pump in my little under seat bag.

On the flip side I rode Portsmouth to Edinburgh on them with one puncture over the 4 days..... They did have a number of cuts however.
