Yikes - I've just bought some Enve 45's on CK R45 hubs, 20/24 built with Spaim CX ray spokes.

As a brief background, 2 years ago I upgraded from Ksyruim Elite's to Ksyrium SLS. The difference was certainly noticeable so this time I've decided to go one step further!

Let's hope it's worth it

Popped into halfords yesterday and came out with a Sportful Pista jersey. Last one in stock reduced from £40 to £4.99 and luckily in my size, bargain!

Boring bits: Replacement bearing set as my current ones must be square, and a new BB as it has suffered the same affliction.

Sexy bits : totally impractical brown suede Charge Spoon, Fox Forks, Nuke Proof stem and a reducer headset to finally rid myself of a headshok.

Pics pending smile

After smashing my phone for the second time, I have ordered a Garmin 510 GPS. At least if I smash this I can still get my phone out of my bag! replacing screens and digitizers is getting expensive!

Boardman Road Sport Fi 2014

SDP SL PDR 540s

DHB R1.0 Shoes

All for my lovely niece. Shoes have just arrived, that's the pic she posted on FB.

The bike and pedals are waiting at Halfords and I'll collect after work tonight.

Looking forward to taking her to Richmond Park to get used to riding it and being clipped in smile

Although the earlier one, I have a 500, and it's been down the road a few times! It really holds up well biggrin

The rest of my Ultegra Groupset turned up finally today.

Still unsure about chain reactions next day delivery,,as it took 4 days to get here despite paying extra for the next day service!

They do all look very nice and shiny and light though ! smile

Complain and you'll likely get a refund on your postage.

Thanks, I think I might just do that, but as it was less than a fiver not sure it's worth it.

I have been Warned about chain reaction deliveries by many people, but the fact they were the cheapset for the Ultegra stuff I needed, and then they had an extra 10% off shimano, meant that a lot of it was almost half price!

Stop being so British, don't let the fkers get away with it!

My experience of returns and fault items to CR has always been good, so I can see them being good over this.

After a lunchtime spent in Cyclesurgery, it appears that the only helmet that fits my head properly is... A Specialized Evade.

Anyone know how I can get one for less than £160?

Wouldn't it be cheaper to fit metal bands around your head for 6 months biggrin

Isn't that the height of what not to do? Try on/test in a shop, then buy cheapest elsewhere.

Yeah. Probably. I'm happy to pay a small premium for having a product in my hand, actually - but in this instance the only product that fits my needs is too expensive. Is it not logical to try to get the right product for an acceptable cost - online or offline?
