What will they say to the RS80s? I am hoping they say something like 'you are a very nice, lightweight pair of wheels that look fantastic!' - but it is more likely they are going to say 'is this the fastest this fat arsed rider can go?'.....

Just got a Rapha winter jersey. Pretty heavy so will keep out the winter chill. Seems like a quality bit of kit & fits well. Hoping for a cold snap so I can get it on

suspension seatpost arrived today and im pretty impressed. iv got to have a bit of a play with the preload adjustment to set it for my weight but its doing the job better than i expected. i payed 35 quid off the bay but its gone up to 40 in the week since ordering. finaly got sensible and bought a sweed protector. just ordered a 1200lm front light out of the winter lights thread too. all this and the aldi purchases its been an expensive week.

Popped into Sports Direct last night & got myself some padded shorts, a green & black jersey & some SPD SL shoes all in for £35.00. Only cheap Muddy fox gear but it's exactly what I wanted to see how I get on with the clipless pedals which I am collecting from Evans tomorrow.

Must stop buying Rapha stuff. I probably shouldn't do this, but since 24th September I've bought... Pearl Izumi Leg Warmers (£22) High 5 Gels (£13) High 5 Tablets (£5) Pearl Izumi Elite Thermal Overshoes (£44.99) Assos Chamois Cream (£10.79) Bar Tape (£7.50) Ebay Light from other thread (£17.34) Rapha Merino Knee Warmers (£49) Rapha Merino Base Layers (£94) Yikes. I really am addicted to buying bike stuff None of it's even for the bike!

I don't feel too bad about spending a bit on bike gear. Everyone has to have a vice of some sort. I have pointed out to the missus she has it pretty goo with me. I also don't watch much sport on TV or play video games. When I am indulging my vice, it's also making me healthier too...
