They look lovely. I considered these but the stories (which are possibly overstated) about exploding hubs put me off. Looking at the Reynolds Assault now.TKF said:

I still can't get myself to spend that much on something I am essentially going to sweat in.
I come from a ski-touring background where I really appreciate the value of having the right kit for the conditions. If I'm comfortable I'm more likely to get out and stay out in bad weather. The Mavic jacket reviewed well for breathability, protection and fit and I think it'll make a big difference (to me, running hot and doing the riding that I do) compared to a less breathable, baggier jacket.
Technical cycling clothing is a fraction of the cost of ski-touring kit (which, admittedly, has to work over an even wider range of conditions) so maybe that affects my perception of value, but the cheaper stuff doesn't seem to do the job. Fine for commuting, I'm sure, but not up to the job if you're riding hard for a couple of hours.

Some lovely stuff from Rapha with the Sky 25% discount on top of the sale discount!
Tell me more! I'm a Sky customer so it's about time I got something extra for my moneyEdited by Big Al. on Monday 11th August 17:25
Thanks for the Rapha code, just ordered two T shirts and a musette for my wife to pick up when she goes back to the UK this week.
I've bought a few bits recently, a set of carbon 38mm wheels from China, and some Michelin tyres to go on them
A Selle Italia Flite with Titanium rails and some slightly dubious graphics, atop a carbon seat post ordered with the wheels. The seat was in the bargain bin at my LBS for under £50 so I thought I'd give it a go
Deda Newton bars and a 130mm stem to go with them, the original bars had a ridiculously shallow drop, and the 100mm stem was too short for my lanky frame so this should help. I went for some Cinelli bar tape too

Don't like the SKY team stuff but the Rapha kit is the best IMO!
I quite like the look of the Sky kit, but as I wear size S and live outside the UK I think it's an acceptable way of getting some really good kit quite cheaply. My kit is mostly Assos (of course) but I recently bought a Pearl Izumi jersey which fits me better than any other I've tried before.
