The "what bike bits have you just bought" thread

Can anyone recommend a mudguard for my commuter? It doesn't have bosses for a proper one, so I've been doing with a crud catcher, but in heavy rain, it just flies up into my face anyway. Are these any good?

A trailer for towing my son around in. At the moment we have a Hamax seat, but this should make longer rides possible, and we wanted a single seat for narrowness, and to convert to a buggy so we can wheel him around when we get to the destination.

Another call to Planet X this morning. Although their product is excellent value, their customer service isn't very good. Apparently my buying the frame through their ebay shop and then buying the crankset and the stem over the phone is causing lots of confusion
Wiggle can ship £50 orders in one day, yet Planet X struggle with orders of £600! I bought some wheels form lasty year and that took three weeks to and that was a product that was supposedly in stock!
Rant over.

Congratulations on managing to buy a frame from their eBay shop in the first place, everything they have listed seems to be out of stock...
I think hes just discovered thatSuch a shame they have mixed reviews, they seem to have a great online shop and audience in a competitive market, but struggle with processing the orders. Or is it that the margins are so tight they don't have the cash or expertise to invest in a decent organised system/procedure overhaul
