I like my Mojito, however I'm struggling a little to find some glasses that fit well with it - if the arms a little too long, they sturggle to mate with the mechanism at the back of the helmet.
Yeah - they're not great when it comes to glasses sitting in them frown
Great lids though!

The difference in cost between this and a new SS bike is going to be rather smaller than I anticipated.
All part of the fun!
But because these are new parts rather than just refurbished, they will last longer before you have to upgrade therefore saving you money in the longer term.

I've got a Kask Mojito, its great (not sure if £100 is cheap, but there we are).
What about a K10 at 65 bucks?

Looking around the net, you seem to be right!
Applies to a lot of cycling stuff. I always wonder how some manufacturers seem to get away with price-fixing and others don't.

Presumably no-one discounts the product in question because the maker threatens to stop supplying the shop if they do (or because the margins are so thin already), but I'm not sure how that's legal.

If you've found this for less than £165, I'd be very interested please smile Don't get on with Giro at all (wrong shape) and the Met Sine Thesis looks huge (on Tiernan-Locke's head anyway) so I may well be trying a Kask at some point.
Full RRP (-ish...local and regular wink) here, BUT don't get too hung up on the Vertigo and price. Opt for the Mojito at £100 (as has been said) which is seemingly every bit as good. Tried it on myself and really liked it, but only plumped for the Vertigo for a) better choice of colours at the time and b) man-maths ("Well I was going to spend x...but it's only a tenner more..."). It's as light - if not lighter - has the same fit/adjustment mechanism, is of the same profile/build etc, etc. Honestly, I did wonder why I was such a tart in going for the Vertigo.

What glasses do you wear with them? I have only cheapies at the moment which don't sit right. Borrowed a mate's Oakley Jawbones for a week's cycling in Portugal and they didn't sit right either.

Jawbones frown look good, but could never have them sitting as securely in my lid as I wanted! They felt more secure on the back of my lid, but then you run the obvious risk of dropping them, and you not noticing...

On a side note, just picked up my turbo trainer! Bring on the sufferfest videos!

IIRC Kask stuff is selling itself. A *relative* newcomer to the UK market maybe, BUT the Sky sponsorship and the fact that they're a very nice alternative to the likes of Giro and Bell (is there anywhere that doesn't sell them?!) means shops don't really have to discount them...

The expenditure on my new 29er continues to go upwards and I still don't have the frame yet......just ordered a Fox Float CTD for the rear, and an Easton Havoc 35mm diameter stem and carbon bar combo. My bank card is currently doing a very good impression of the Wicked Witch of the West......"I'm Melting" biggrin

Do you put the end of the arms under the plastic bit, or over them? That was the bit I struggled with - putting the arms under the plastic bit (the mechanicsm that tightens/loosens) made it push against my head quite hard which was uncomfortable.

Yep, I'm looking forward to them. It was a choice of Fulcrum Zero's or the Mavic Ksryrium SL's. I went for the Mavic's as I love the red hubs and single red spoke on the 2012 wheels and they'll match the colour scheme of my bike biggrin.

I have a set set of Fulcrum 3's and in early August a drive side rear spoke snapped and I am still waiting for a spoke replacement set, you have to buy the repair kit set of five spokes(2 drive side rear, 2 non-drive side rear and 1 front spoke). I have been told by the distributor that I may get the spoke kit at the end of October! I am led to believe that Mavic spare parts are a little easier to come by. Hence my choice of Mavic's, plus they look better in my opinion.

My Radars slot it to the vents on the top of my Atmos quite neatly and securely - provided they're upside down.

My purchases are dull. 4 sets of kevlar brake pads (lets see if I prefer them to sintered), some waterproof overshoes and a pair of winter gloves.

I *am* thinking about a singlespeed though.
