I'm getting confused now, so shall I ask my "friend" who bought some for a pic when he gets them set up properly?

Say you were hypothetically hiding a set of Flo 30 wheels in the garage, and wanted to get them on the bike before the missus notices the boxes. If you had a 10 speed bike, and the hub said 11 speed and came with a spacer, the spacer would go on before the cassette, right?

Hypothetically of course...
Pah, you want to try and hide a Cube Agree GTC Pro from the other half....

I have genuinely considered buying the carbon version of my road bike, it's available in a very similar colour scheme. Then keeping the carbon one in the loft for 6 months of winter, before switching it for the Auminium one for summer.

Then I changed jobs and had kids, so I have a lot less cash.

Stop it! I want one annoyingly badly, especially since my edge 500 just packed up.

Just bought 1 each of these:

£15 each, reduced to £7.50, down to £6.74 with the 10% discount code 10AUT and free delivery as over £20 and hopefully 3 and a bit % cashback with TopCashback (every little helps ;-)

Wiggles 17% discount offer was killing me. It was either a Wahoo Kickr or some winter boots. I chose the MTFU option.

As in it was a different bag and now you’re pissed because you don’t need to hang your wardrobe off the back of your bike? If I had to carry that much with me on a Sunday ride I’d be taking a support car out with me wink

I'm going to do an update soon. I've had an epic level of small things including some posh commute pannier bags etc as I couldn’t carry on with stuff on my back.

Nice boots please report back and tell us if they're any good (i'm swaying away using my old sidi's for my wet / commute boot). TBH i kep reading mixed things about 'winter boots' i.e. arent as waterproof or warm as the manufactor makes out.

Will do. Anything better than piss wet through and freezing cold will be an improvement. I've bought two lots of overshoes in the last 18 months and both have been rubbish at what they are supposed to do and have disintegrated after one autumn/winter. I've come to the conclusion summer shoes are surprisingly crap in winter..

I've looked at the Fahrenheit GTX for the past 2 months and this is the lowest price they've been. Harribos inbound in a couple of days!! and no more overshoe faff now that I'll be commuting.

I've got the older Artic GTX I think they're call , great boots, waterproof up to a point, but got to remember you have a big hole in the top of them, nothing gets in from front or underneath, lovely and warm when required, even for my useless Reynards affected feet, your feet will go cold eventually but these do a good job of prolonging that pain!

After getting a third puncture in three days I decided I had had enough of those fking st Maxxis Detonator tyres on my hybrid. I managed to get to an Evans Cycles on the air left in the rapidly deflating tyre on my commute home. There, I was utterly shafted the princely sum of £69.99 for a pair of Schwalbe Marathon Plus tyres. Still, at least there's far less chance of me getting a puncture now.
