Got some of these from aliexpress, good bits of kit, but no way I'd pay 8quid for a piece of plastic.
It's in euros but I take your point smile

Aliexpress ones look like the originals, not the third gen versions (are they?), and anyway I've no problem paying to reward innovation.

Have bought these recently, Shimano's padless bib tight - for £35 I am very impressed! Not worn them yet, but fit and feel is great. They go over your normal summer bib shorts - so the pad in that is the expensive one. I went for medium (65kg, 6', 32" waist, 36" chest) and the fit is perfect. It's not yet been cold enough to go for those rather than shorts and knee warmers, but it's only a matter of time biggrin

Plus...everyone needs minty nuts.

Oh, and I bought it at the beginning of summer with the 20% questionnaire code, but wore it for first time at the weekend (yay!);

If you mount it low it doesn't look quite so "mountain bike". Saved my rear from the crud on yesterday's roads.

I also have the Croozer on the downtube which helps the front.

A galvanized inspection chamber cover? Shouldn't that be in Homes, garden and DIY?

A spare gear hanger as I'd forgotten to put one on my spares list.
And after seeing a couple of people recently with trashed hangers/mechs thought it would be a good idea to stick one in my bag.

yikes omFg - what about the additional weight? And worse still what about the aero drag all of that creates? confused How on earth will you get a KOM with those contraptions on your steed.......? wink
