Forgot - I'm thinking of a Brooks Cambium C15 for my CX...

Anyone got one? Experiences?
I have one on my Day-One, chosen because I ride in normal clothes. I find it really comfy but the canvas seems faintly abrasive on my jeans (as I guess you'd expect). In all, I'd say go for it though.

Cool, cheers.

Do you think the abrasiveness would be an issue with lycra?

Not sure. I wouldn't say it's a big issue anyway, just that I've noticed some additional wear to the saddle area of the cheap H&M jeans I wear to the office - I've been using the Brooks for about 600km riding 17km each way to the office and back since September. I think with reasonable Lycra it should be fine.

After getting sick and tired of my lights not seating on various aero posts I got hold of one of these...

...I say 'got hold of' I mean we made it!

Exposure Trace/R Set

£69.98 delivered from Tredz with £5 off email signup coupon. Bargain.
Let me know what you thing of these, as I am seriously considering them.
Will do. Bit miffed as Tredz were the only place with stock. Except they didn't actually have any...

Been told 17th November now.
They did this to me a while ago, too. I cancelled the order and bought somewhere else, at a slightly higher price, because I didn't have time to wait for the item in question. I did find that a bit annoying.

Cool story bro. etc.

Nice. I still have my Ascent EX, although it is used for touring about on now, rather than hammering over the moors.

eek

Is that actually sagging in the middle, under it's own weight?

It looks like a very long bike too, wheelbase wise.

No offence, but that one is very definitely in the 'not for me' pile. Good luck with the build, though. Much like classic cars, it's nice to see older stuff kept nice, whether it's to my taste or not. thumbup
