Way too much, in fact almost enough to finally the build the frame up that's been sat in my bedroom for the past six months, internet sales are bad for your bank account
I hope there are no derailleurs in that list of bits.Gone a bit mad with my classic road bike collection, recent purchases include a Shimano 600AX groupset, a Cornelo frame to match, a NOS Vitus 979 frameset, two pairs of tub wheels for the Vitus, a Campag Triomphe groupset, genuine Vitus seatpost, Selle Italia Turbomatic II seat and a front derailleur clamp, as the Campag one is for a braze on.
I'm also building up a Planet X Kaffenback for winter duties, so I can free up my Raleigh Competition for single speed duties, so that's involved a Forza stem and bars, 3x10 Ultegra shifters, Tektro Lyra brakes, 105 derailleurs, and a Forza seatpost. Still need tyres, chainset, cassette and chain.
Plus quite a bit of Planet X clothing, as I'm working round the corner from their Sheffield branch.
Expensive month.

I've am doing the Wiggle Fallen Leaves MTB thingy around the South Downs next weekend. I don't ride the MTB very much so I thought that I had better give it the once over and noticed the front tyre had a huge tear in the sidewall, and the rear had no tread in the centre so I have ordered these;
Front; http://www.on-one.co.uk/i/q/TYGXDTTT/geax-datura-m...
Rear; http://www.on-one.co.uk/i/q/TYGEGMUST/geax-gato-mu...
I've got a pair of the Datura in the garage.Front; http://www.on-one.co.uk/i/q/TYGXDTTT/geax-datura-m...
Rear; http://www.on-one.co.uk/i/q/TYGEGMUST/geax-gato-mu...
Not got round to putting them on yet.
Think I paid £15 for the pair earlier in the year.
One of these..
And one of these..
Plus £15 Evans voucher all for my Birthday.
Pump is awesome, I've been using a Halfords track pump that when the desired 110psi is reached, removing the nozzle takes your hand off! This as most modern pumps has a air release button which is nice.
The gillet is a large but is snug to say the least so trip to Evans in the morning, and a chance to look at saddles

The wheels on the bike (Zipp 404's) are a few years old so can't be upgraded to 11speed so the rear is being rebuilt with a Hope RS Mono hub. There's a bit of tinkering to be done which I'll no doubt enjoy.
You can use a Campag free hub and 11 speed cassette. I'm using a 10s Campag Powertap on my Shimano winter bike, works ok. 11s are nearly identical between the two.Rich_W said:
The nuts have gone but the valve caps didn't come with the tubes so I sort of get away with it gazza285 said:

Had to invest in a decent front light, I have to cycle some short but unlit stretches of cycle path and it amazes me just how many dog walkers, runners, parents with toddlers etc. happily drift along with zero consideration for making themselves remotely visible?! The little unit looks like it will fit the bill perfectly but I'll find out first time I use it in anger at 18:10 on Monday night?!
The neck warmer was on offer and sorely needed to cover my ears! Lols
The chain cleaner thingy simply rounded up my order

PlanetX has a lot to answer for with their sales tactics. I have a Mary bar on my road bike and I'd like something similar on my hardtail... only I wanted something wider. I think their Og bar is that wider bar, so I've taken a punt.
And while I was leafing through their website, a pair of £20 panniers caught my attention. They're not waterproof but I don't ride in the rain, and I'd wrap anything up I wanted to keep dry anyway. £20. Couldn't say no.

Can anyone suggest where to get some cheap brushes for when it comes to washing your bike? Naturally those in Halfords seem far too expensive for scrubbing your cassette & hard to reach places.
