I've got SPD pedals on a few of my road bikes, saved me buying another pair of shoes, the Shimano A520s are a nice road bike pedal.
Got a pair of white M520's which arrived yesterday. Rational was I could always swap them onto the MTB if the 530's I have on there now conk out and I'm stuck without pedals. Bike arrived this morning, looks nice, now got to read up on the internet how to set the saddle height correctly.

I just ordered one of these today. Its a Canyon Endurace 8.0 I was undecided between the 9.0 with full Dura Ace or the 8.0 with 105. I went for the 105 model in the end as I'll be using the bike all year round so the consumables get a bit pricey with DA!
I ended up cancelling my order for this yesterday. According to their site the bike is in stock for express delivery. They said the delivery date would be week 8 2015. Nine weeks to deliver a bike that's in stock seems excessive to me!
I went to an LBS today and picked up a nice Trek Domane instead. More expensive than the Canyon but at least I can use it for the next nine weeks!

My turbo trainer died a death this evening after quite a few years of hard work and a total lack of love and care! Rather than spend a fortune on a super fandango machine of pain, I decided to keep it cheap and simple and ordered one of these;
Elite Crono Fluid
This is the one I got for Christmas, very happy Elite Crono Fluid
Went to Evans today to get a rear wheel, cassette, Elite turbo trainer tyre and Elite riser block. I don't want to wear out my road tyre so thought it would be easier to just swap a complete wheel
Shimano RS010 rear wheel
Shimano 9 speed cassette
Elite Coperton TT tyre
Elite hometrainer gel block

My legs are not strong enough for the 11-28 that came with the bike, 1 x 11 is hard work on a X bike.

I've just had a Muc Off Chain cleaning machine delivered:
I had been dropping hints for Christmas, but none bought me it, so ordered it myself. The plan is to give my bike a good clean tomorrow after some very muddy rides over the last few days.
I've got a Park Tools version of the same thing. I use a tin of Gunk from Halfords, loads cheaper than the recommended degreaser and lasts forever - gets the chain clean enough to eat your dinner off.I had been dropping hints for Christmas, but none bought me it, so ordered it myself. I have the Park Tools one now, only because the Muc-Off one I had previous started falling apart after about the 4th use. Shame, as that actually worked better (while it lasted). Whatever one you get, though, they are truly brilliant.
Still, after a few chain cleans with the device, I still remove the chain for a thorough soak in a sandwich bag full of white spirit. You'd be surprised how dirty the liquid gets within seconds even though you thought the chain was clean!
