Give me a week or so with it and I'll try and do a report. Will only really be using it on my commute which is the CS7 but I might go for a few laps of Richmond Park just for fun since it's so bright hehe
I was out in Epping Forest last night: pitch black under the trees. Can confirm that one 1000lm on the bars and one on the head is almost overkill biggrin

Noticed a bit of a dull click when the chain is more or less straight so ordered a new bottom bracket, given the old one has over 5,000 miles on it I guess I can't complain! Oddly enough the Ultegra is cheaper than the 105 it will be replacing!

On-road it's a matter of remembering to keep the head one down, but off road it terrifies foxes at 200 yards biggrin

I did a 25km night ride on monday night with one of these, on high I was conscious that I was probably dazzling oncoming traffic, so either put it onto low mode, or lowered the angle of the light on the bars. This is one of the plus points of the o-ring fitting.

It is impressively bright, and more impressively, outlasted the 1 hour ride, even though I had forgotten to charge it, so was still on the charge it was delivered with! (And obviously I'd been playing around with it when it first arrived!)

ETA: Can't ever see why anyone would use the flashing mode on these - it's offensive!

Picked up a bit of a bargain today. Guesses for the amount paid for this lot? (please excuse the horrendously messy room)

08 Felt B2, with Vision bars, and Dura-ace deralliuers.
SRM Power meter K-Light FSA Carbon Crankset with PCM 6
Set of HED 60mm carbon clinchers
Huge hard flight case
and a bunch of spare tubes and bits and bobs

The HED wheels, couldn't resist putting them on my Giant lol

On the way home this evening I started thinking a pair of oars would have been a good future purchase!

Probably more effective than the Cinzano, Budweiser or Pyockva.

Just realised I know look like a serious alcoholic eek which I am not!

Paid £1370 for the lot so I'm chuffed to bits. Not sure whether to keep the SRM yet, may just sell it on and pay off most of what I bought it for. I'm doing IMUK next year to I think it would be a nice bike to do it on! cool

Some Castelli Velocissimo bib tights. Think I checked Wiggle just in time: 0 stock yesterday, restocked overnight, down to 2 come 10am!

Just need some arm warmers, a L/S thermal jersey and I'm set for winter. I hope...

You got yourself one hell of a bargain.
You should recoup the entire amount from the sale of the SRM and head unit.

I was suffering LBS guilt today (I have 4 within 5 miles of home or work).
I'd used one recently (Small, understocked, but REALLY friendly).
Booked my bike in for a service at the second from which I bought my bike (Professional, guy that owns it races on local club circuit and wins a lot, but lacks personal touch).
The third only stocks things over-priced or out of price range, I go here to remain humble and then buy a co2 cartridge to appear worthy, (I now need a LOT of punctures)
So I visited LBS 'unloved' and spent £120 on stuff i could have lived without, A Lezyne rear light which is far too fecking bright, it was pissing down so I bought some waterproof overshoes feet were toasty but socks still got wet, wtf!) amd a long sleeved polaris top I didn't really need but matched my bike...
