As per my other Ebay thread, picked this up on the weekend (excuse the disgusting garden)

I fancied another Wilier, as I already have one and really like it but couldn't justify the costs of a new one, saw this and snapped it up for £600 . Shame it has a 105 compact chainset, as I wanted a Campag double, but otherwise I like it. Went out on a quick ride yesterday and it was all good bar an annoying creak!

Does anyone know if you can fit a 53/39 chain rings to a FSA Gossamer Compact chainset? I'm guessing you cant , but thought I would check.
I had an annoying creak on my bike it was the saddle the bracket had worked loose, worth a check smile

Michelin Pro 4 SC. Good value and was very impressed with the grip, not far of the vittoria tubs either.

After trying one at a demo day on Sunday, I had to have a Rockshox Reverb Stealth dropper post for my next bike so came out the bike shop with one today with a nice discount (not CRC cheap, but close enough).

Got the post just need the bike.

Ridley Fenix C10 disc
Custom paint - free voucher
Rotor 3D+ compact with 52/36 Q rings
Ultegra 6800 pedals foc
Few other bits changed like carbon post foc

Great service in the Netherlands where I'll be back in a couple of months to collect it and get fitted further to it. Then reclaim the VAT on its way back to Singapore. So even with all the upgrades and bits, it'll cost me the same as the standard bike biggrin

Plus these below as I needed some new MTB shoes and these fitted like a glove, they were the only pair of Fizik shoes they had left after switching to other manufacturers so the deal with the bike was too good to turn down. Plus they'll match the new PH outfit.

ISM Adamo Attack sex toy saddle. These ISM things seem to be working on my TT bike, so worth a punt on the road bike I 'spose!

Of course you can fit 39/53 chainrings on a compact, both sizes are available in 110 BCD from most good bike shops. Might need a couple of links in your chain though.

Bloody brilliant things. Stating the obvious, but make sure whatever you buy has the drilling in the seat post to feed the hose through! Not everything does.

What year is the Bike, prior to 2014 compact and full had different PCD, shimano moved from 110/130 compact/full, to 110 for both in2014 with the x8xx groupsets.
Also the derailleur will by a different radius, it'll work but not necessarily be a sharp as the appropriately shaped one.

I bought a pair of those in September of last year for a bike that I still haven't purchased. They feel very well made and noticeably lighter than my old ali 105 pedals.

I can't see the issue with Shimano changing their standards, it's an FSA Gossamer chainset.

Hi it is a 2012 model I think , my limpwristed memory tells me that as it is an FSA crankset you can change the rings and if Shimano then no. I could be wrong

I'm in the process of resurrecting my old 2005 specialized hardrock

I've just bought this rigid MTB fork from on-one/planet x for it. The old RST fork is knackered and weighs 2.5kg. This rigid weighs about 1kg.

Have you got the part number for that? I've also brought a 2005 Hardrock back to life and have been wondering whether to ditch the old forks.
