I'm quite happy with my Supersix but at £1275 delivered I couldn't resist. I'm not completely sure about the black anodised paint (looks awful if it goes shiny) but the white one just had too many Canyon logos on it. Will put my Racing 3 tubeless wheels on and have ordered a semi compact chainset, VCLS post is next on the list if I can find a good deal on one. Looking forward to trying Di2...
Keep us updated on how it goes - I'm tempted to get one myself but I'm not sure what the older alu frames are like.

That's a bargain! The groupset itself retails for c.£900!
Has anyone got a link for this? Had a look at Canyon website but can't see anything Di2 at that price.

Yeah it's a pretty good deal and I've always liked aluminium frames like this and the Caad10. Reviews at the time were very positive so I'm expecting it to be good.

It's available from the Canyon outlet here : https://www.canyon.com/en/outlet/list.html#categor...

Will post up pics and thoughts in the bike pics thread when I've had a few rides on it.

Think it's an outlet bike from their website, model year c.2013 - only available in certain sizes.

Not strictly bike bits, but a pair of Pivothead Kudo camera glasses.

http://www.pivothead.com/technology/originals/

I've got them for a work project, but will definitely be trying them out on my next ride. The little play I've had walking around the house in them looks very impressive.

First new bike in ten years, took advantage of evens cycles trade in offer and got £50 off (They surprisingly took a wreck of a bike off me)
don't know much about bikes but want to get into it a little bit more and get myself more active again.

Manged 6 miles of hilly roads before fealing like I was about to keel over hehe
Looks great. pinnacle are making some ace bikes.

I've got me a new crankset to match my rear shock. like any true rider should.

I saw a similar product at Goodwood (FoS) a year (maybe two) ago. Might still have the flyer somewhere, but couldn't afford to buy them at the time.

Let us know what they are like in use, please! I'd like to know more about recording capacity (hours) and battery life (same). I assume bigger memory cards could be used to increase memory, but recording time would ultimately be governed by battery life. They appeal because, unlike a GoPro, they aren't huge and totally obvious, although I'd be concerned about the weight being uncomfortable on my ears/nose.

I'm pretty sure that there a few LA based companies using them, or a product similar, for documentaries following the lives of ordinary guys. They seem to be very lucky with pulling women when wearing them, so I can see the benefits of making the investment.

Someone's just got on my train with what must be a new, as unmarked tyres, very very shiny, and I can smell it, lime green Trek Marlin 6. I want a new bike frown

Some new bits in preparation for Velothon Wales.

An 11-32 cassette to help me up the hills, and some Shimano 105 brakes to replace the terrible TRP aero brakes that came on my 13Bikes Intuition, to help me down the hills!

Sugoi RSE bibshorts, by far the most comfortable shorts I've worn, are reduced from £130 to £50 on Sport Pursuit. I have a couple of pairs inbound.

Out of interest what other makes have you tried? Road CC gave the normal RS 4/5 so the RSE must be better, the matching tops look good as well.

I assume you have bought from them before, lead time is quite long (4 weeks).

I have Assos and Castelli from the decent end and stuff like dhb from the bargain end of the market. I bought a pair of RSE about 2yrs ago and they are my go to bibs for long rides on warmer days. Superb padding and they have panels that mould around your leg so there is no need for silicone grippers. They stay firmly in place for crisp tan lines.

They also have small mesh panels at the front and rear of the chamois which helps air flow and noticeably keeps things cool in the heat.

But beware of those cold-start hot-later days, especially on fast descents. It can get a little chilly in there!

Shrinkage = aero. Think of it like those cars that retract the spoiler at certain speeds to reduce drag.

For £50 a pair it would be rude not to, they have some keenly priced shoes as well.

Forget shrinkage. Think transgender.

Just went to look at them and wouldn't buy based purely on the fact there is one of those pop ups you can't close! So frustrating!

I probably know the answer to this but see what you all think.

I have a nice trek madone 4.5. I really like it but it seems to weight a lot and I've had it nearly 3 years. I was thinking of some aero wheels at around £500 I know the weight difference and aero effect might not be that great but I just fancy spending shot of cash on the bike!

Then I've seen this http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=... and it's probably a better spec than mine plus it has wheels worth best part of £500.

Best to go for something like that or do u think just keep my trusty stead and do it up a bit?
