Swapped bikes with my mate t'other night. He has an awesome CX saddle perfect for the SS mtb, had to have one (and it matches my grips now)
I have one of these {same model }sitting doing nothing, i just can't get on with it. Kills my harris .If you are thinking of buying one Richard cancel it & have mine , i'm only looking for the postage money.

titanium is good stuffI have 2 titanium frames now, a fixed and a winter. Both ride very nicely.
I also have 2 of these rather nice titanium saddle bag carriers in titanium. Unfortunately they were made in the days when seat posts were 27.2mm and they don't fit my current bikes. One is going to be modified this week to fit. Only 3 of them exist - they were made by a top bloke in my old cycling club who has been dead for about 20 years! Hoarder? Me? never!

I'm leasing it Just being built up at the moment with some nice hand built wheels, should pick it up in two weeks.
Really looking forward to it
Darren, pop over and have a go on it, it should be the right size for you.
Garmin 25 for £95 from chain reaction - had wanted a 510 but couldn't justify the cost for ages just for mtb to get better tracking under trees with the glossnas (I already have a 800 that's been great). Didn't know the 25 existed until chain reactions advert email, the 25 seems to have all the features of the 510 but half the price :-)

The tyres arrived last week, but I've been told that to get the full potential from them, I need latex inner tubes. This allows the tyres to run down to 30psi for grip.
Now, Wiggle are out of stock of the tubes and they are 2 weeks away from re-stocking. My next race is in 10 days time!
Can't decide whether to use them with standard tubes or be patient and wait.

Do people still use tubes in mtb wheels? Tubeless all the way! Now, Wiggle are out of stock of the tubes and they are 2 weeks away from re-stocking. My next race is in 10 days time!

No barometric altimeter though, so expect your climbing numbers on Strava to be way down on your 800's. If that matters to you of course.jamiebae said:

CAAD10 ultegra, 1200 from Westbrook so it seemed rude not to....
Good choice - I have the 105 version but with Ultegra wheels and it's a great bike to rideAll depends on the fitting now as I went with a 54cm whihc just felt a little better than the 56, it was a little more compact but the 56 felt too stretched with the stock spacers etc so removing those would only exacerbate the problem. Hopefully i can get the 54 to fit with a flipped, dropped stem and some seat attention. The amnusing thing is i dont know what colour it will be, could be the all black version, could be silver and red...

That at looks like a horrible saddle. Completely flat at the back?? I bought some used Noprthwave Zero boots which also came with MTB shoes and pedals too. All for £59 on Ebay Both shoes and boots are a little tights, so I shall be selling the shoes straight away and I'll see how I get on with the boots when I start using thicker socks. Pedals are SPD fitment, but not a brand I recognize, so they have gone straight in the spares box.
