Evans price match, mmmm, whats the deal, who will they match with ?
You send them a link to the lower priced article. They decide if they will match it and send you a unique discount code to use in the checkout if they do.They match all the big boys, plus as above the odd smaller site too. It's a bit pot luck with the smaller ones though.

This. Or today, they just looked up the link to the other site in store. Might've helped that I've bought a few bits from them in the last three or four weeks and seen the same guy each time. Always worth a bash though.

Not sure what the best way of stopping water getting into the port is, other than closing the rubber seal. I'm not sure whether grease would interfere with the charging port? Maybe something similar to a squire of wd40 on and around the port would help protect it?
This was as supplied and recommended by a man in the know. It baffles me that it is possible to design a torch to be used by divers, but still companies produce bike lights which stop working due to a bit of spray. Locating the light on the centreline directly in the line of the spray off the back wheel is also not hugely sensible. If I thought about it I'd just get a mudguard and stop the worst of it.Must say that riding in this morning with the low level sun causing glare, having both my Exposure blaze and Moon LX70 gave me great confidence that I was being seen. Trouble is.... I usually ride with a saddle bag on longer rides so need to find a way to get that on without blocking the lights....

I ride with a medium Lezyne saddle bag (easier than having to remember spare tubes each time I change jerseys, and safer for my phone too) and have te same issue. For now, the Cateye rear light I bough just fits between the saddlebag and bottom of the seatpost. Not ideal, but it isn't actually blocked, so hopefully bright & obvious enough to alert traffic of my presence.stongle said:
Just finished the Parlee finally, so new project commences. New frameset incoming - Madone 9.9 t o replace my 7.9. 42 day delay on P1 though. Not going Vapor Coat this time (chips like fook), and @ £880, I'll get Quarq instead.
7.9 is off to bay of thieves.
Lovely, went to see the new Madone and my local dealer and I do like the look of it ... what colour have you gone for?7.9 is off to bay of thieves.
I see that H1 & H2 are £800 apart, whats that about?!
Gone for Black Pearl & Dinister Black logos.
Strange that they quoted a price difference. I’m on a H1 fit that isn’t a stock item; but wasn’t aware it was more expensive.
Given that the brakes, bars and stem are included; it seems better value to Project1 a frame than buy fully built up. Retail on these seems to be 9k; but you can build them a fair bit cheaper if you shop around for the bits.

No neither was I until I had a nosey on the website. Very nice ... not sure how you got on with the matt finish on your 7 series, have the matt 5.9 ... seems to have worn ok with only a few marks after 6k - 7k miles. I know how impatient I am ... guess if you order about now its probably the best time to ensure you have it for next yr! Strange that they quoted a price difference. I didn't realise the bars and stem are included too ... was wondering about those on the new model as they're integrated.
