Showed the Cube some love today, new brake pads, new Nobby Nick's, fitted the new wheels I bought a while back.

Only thing I actually bought today was some thread lock to make sure the brake discs and calipers were secure when I re-assembled it all.

Got distracted by this thread and ended up with a set of these:

£34 each from Rose Bikes: https://www.rosebikes.co.uk/article/challenge-pari...
They are on and look great but what an absolute pain the ass they are to fit.

A set of these in 26" on red hubs smile
Where from and how much?
Eddh, I had a brand new set of these on my bike at the Swinley ride, UBYK, £342 + £5.99 for 26mm WTB rim tape + £11.99 for a pair of Stans valves, took all of 3 minutes to setup tubeless.

2015 58cm Cannondale Synapse Hi Mod Frameset for the very acceptable price of £750 smile

Westbrook Cycles have 3 x 58cm left at that price and may be getting others in.

Cant be the first.

Very nice. Also interested to hear your thoughts.

What does everyone think of the new Rotor Uno hydraulic setup?
I will update when i try it out but it won't be for a month or so as i still need a few parts before i rebuild the bike.

Excellent price that, I love my synapse hi-mod, although would not be able to tell the difference between a standard frame and a hi-mod !

hehe

Other than the "High Modulus" stickers on the Fork i'm not sure there is a way!

I've spent the evening ordering up bits for it. I've got some decent wheels & a few other odds & ends but there's an Ultegra Di2 Groupset on the way now woohoo

I got a bargain on the Cannondale when I was on the fence about starting to ride or not and I think I've managed a ride every weekend since October!

Wonkily?

What are you planning that you need a dynamo hub? What's its output?

hopefully not!

Going bikepacking in the alps with my club, so need to keep Garmin and lights topped up. Hopefully the first of many adventures.

Just ordered a compact chain set for my Tarmac for the Peaks Challenge Gold Coast event here later in the year. Currently running a 36/52 with an 11-32 cassette and this will give me a 34/50 with the 11-32 cassette.

Better safe that sorry when the event is 235km in <12hrs with over 4000m of climbing including a 2.5k section of over 18% on one of the climbs

The Mrs was complaining my old On One inbred wasn't comfortable even after I got a short stem on it and slammed the seat forward - on checking sizing she had a fair point she's 5'7" and On One say it fits 5'9" - 6'1" so got her a new frame, Chinese carbon. A Beiou it actually looks a very good frame with English threaded BB, tapered head tube includes headset etc and only £200 delivered, should build up a very light bike for the money.
