Not so much "bits" but I've just ordered this 2016 Trek Remedy 9:

to replace this 2016 Cannondale Trail 4:

I really like the Trek remedy. Nice upgrade!

I've just bought this Pinnacle CX bike. A collection of bike bits...

Plus DHB MTB shoes and Shimano M520 pedals for riding it. My proper MTB shoes are too bulky for it. No photos as they're not that interesting!

Probikekit are doing these for £189, with a 10% new customer discount that comes in at £171 so very happy smile
I was looking at getting some of these, couple of questions, are they compatible with Through-Axle forks? Will it rip the glass panel off the roof of my 911?

Single speed cx? brave!
Picked up my Arkose 4 yesterday, really pleased with it; easy to see where the saving were made on finishing kit but I'm really happy with it as a package with upgrade potential.

hopefully not!

Going bikepacking in the alps with my club, so need to keep Garmin and lights topped up. Hopefully the first of many adventures.
Fantastic! Enjoy it J.

Any suggestions for a suitable alternative? Carbon, disc brakes, good clearance, 1.125-1.5" tapered steerer. Tidy dynamo integration a bonus.
Enigma C-Six disk has a hole (looking at drawing, can't see it on photos), but straight steerer so need reducer if no other option.
Enigma Ecroix disk is tapered, also has guard mounts but can't see a hole on web pic. Worth phoning them.

I've got one, but the one that holds 2 bikes. I also have a 911.

I've had 2 bikes on the roof of mine on the rack, but my roof is made of metal and welded to the car.

You can get adapters for bolt through forks, all my bikes are 9mm but the adapters are available on Amazon.

I'll let you assess the helpfulness of this post...

Fell for some spam, either FB or amazon email can't remember and bought on of these

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01AM4TD8I?psc=...

Say they wanted a product review so here's a discount code.

No need for it as I have quite a few other lights, would make a handy torch at the least and only paid £2.99 delivered so figured not much to lose, should arrive today

^ I got one of those rear lights (well a few tbh). Works really well I permanently attached it to my mudguard. Light with 2xCR2032 batteries, posted from HK or wherever, for 99p. How can they do that?!

I won't post pics as It would take up half the page, but I'm on first name terms with the dispatchers at Alpkit!

Todays shipment had in it

Joey
Drypbag
Large possum
Hunka bivi bag
Spare velcro straps
Ti spork

Use Joystick turned up from Wiggle, and my LBS have just rung to say my Hope wheels are ready for collection!

I've just got some of these for £2.99 too ,

Even if they are rubbish it has to be worth a go.

That's great, thanks. I have the panoramic glass roof so it has the sunroof element and then a glass panel at the front of the roof, I imagine this is just glued in so attaching a bike rack to it may not be a good idea. May check with the dealer.

Arrived today, well packaged. rear light is neat and a great addition. Front light is bright but quite a focused beam, I'll try it mounted on my lid I think for off road. It will make a decent standby light for sure. Can't complain just need some rechargeable AA batteries.

They have emailed asking if I want to try stuff for free in return for a review. Might take them up on that based on the light

Is it like this? If so I would be unsure as well, as you said though check with the dealer.

Try a diffuser, something like this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/SEEN-ANGLE-DIFFUSER-LIGHTS...

Turns the 'pencil' beam into something a lot more usable and traffic-friendly.

(and yes I appreciate this is the same price as the whole light set! wink)
