Assos T FI Uno S5 bibs on offer at £85
Assos chamois crème free with chain reaction deal
Easton Microfiber bartape
Thrown my manky bottles away and bought a couple of new elites.

Tempted to get some new shoes ^^ but there really isn't anything wrong with the ones I have. Maybe next year!
I'm after some new bibs, tried on some Chapeau ones yesterday but not quite right.

Saw those Assos then saw they only have S or XXXL left!
Ha, luckily there are replacing the same short.....in S! Very comfy pad and top quality material. The pad is still ok and but they look more grey than black now.

NS Snabb Trail bare frame in neon green / Matt black to replace my Commencal Meta V4 as I've decided the top tube is too short making the cockpit too cramped.

I've just been through a similar process here.

Tried Assos, some top end Lusso and Altura and a pair of Rapha Core and Classics.

Ended up keeping the Classics as they fit the best and had a pad that fitted my gooch perfectly.

The Assos were a close second, but the pad fit whilst good wasn't quite as good.

Managed to get a 20% discount on the Classics.

The Assos bibs I bought from the Assos factory shop.

How did you get 20% off the Rapha Classics? Email code?

I'm holding out but know deep down I'll probably end up with some Rapha ones, the Core range has had some bad reviews though.

My current Santini ones are odd, I've got shorts in XL that fit nicely but the straps are too tight, pulling the shorts up, I've got longs in L and they're perfect!

The Rapha archive store isn't far from me, but I've a snowman's chance of getting some in a L in there.

Which ones do you have?

Noticed they have 15% off your first order at present.

I bought these with that code, so £102, after several recommendations on the audax facebook group.

I bought the Cores first, then received a discount code by email. Decided I could justify the extra £28 if they proved to be more suitable.

The internet says they use a common pad, but I'm not so sure. Also I didn't like the fit of the leg grippers, too wide and baggy when not on the bike.

Overall the fit of the Classics were just better, like a second skin.

The only thing I'm conscious of is wearing Rapha makes a huge statement IMHO, anyhow they look and feel good, especially when matched against my Aldi long sleeve jersey!

The first couple of test rides seem to support your view.

New Dura-ace chain and being as they had a few left one of the Aldi bike workshop stands.

Very impressed for 30 quid and makes working on the bikes a breeze, I have no idea how I've coped for so long without one biggrin

There's no way I'd have the patience to take pictures. Building over the weekend?

It's for my wife and she suggested pics before we start building.

Will get some of it done, but Kinesis are slow to respond regarding the Di2 wiring. I'm going to have to drill through the BB to route the wires I think.

Can I ask where you got the di2 groupset with Hyd brakes from ?
