My Cosmics didn't survive the flight back from Gran Canaria which meant upgrade time

If you are new to clip less pedals take care! Get some gloves and something to hold your phone (assume wahoo is running on phones).
Also suggest practicing replacing/repairing a tube in your lounge before you are on the side of the road.
Keep your chain etc clean but don't kill the freehub with nasty cleaners, get a replacement mini wheel thing.
I have just bought a pedal spanner, much easier getting the vectors of with that then a torque wrench!

Just purchased sme Deng Fu Carbon integrated bars for the Wilier Cento uno Disc.
Shipping right now - was interested to see how the hole Chinese Carbon played out before I went all out with a set of wheels....
still awaiting. Getting some awesome riding in however around the Aviano/Pordenone area of Udine. Steep, but very gratifying views!Shipping right now - was interested to see how the hole Chinese Carbon played out before I went all out with a set of wheels....
After a quiet year of buying bits, this past week has been a little mental. Bored of road riding I ventured out on the MTB. I still hated it so visited the LBS to see what could be done. Swapped the bars and the seat post and it was better, but it still hurt and it's clear we're never going to be friends. Excuse the crap everywhere, the patio/jungle is in the process of being cleared!
So then my Mason Definition. Lovely bike, but the paint started to do weird things, a brief chat with Dom and we had agreed a replacement. Given that the Bokeh has now been released it seemed sensible to swap to that. It is the bike I would have bought in the first place tbh.
After leaving the bike shop I was still looking at the Whyte T130S. One an RS came up for sale locally at a decent price, so off we went.
First ride today and it's great. No more near death experiences and so much faster over the rough stuff. I've never had a droppper, 1x gearing or full suspension so it was a huge upgrade. Not a hard test today but on the one downhill it was 30s faster than absolutely balls out on the Scott. It would have gone way faster I was getting quicker all the time learning what it could do. The front end is kicked out and it's just so friendly.
It's been an expensive 7 days.
