It's been an expensive month!
For the MTB:
after I mashed the last one.

And another Elite Ciussi bottle cage having broken every other type of cage I've had...

For the roadie:
Some of these before last week's triathlon which helped massively given the 30+mph wind we had

Xero Maravillosso wheelset:

A new lid (Specialised Propero II)

And to try and encourage my other half instead of her old hybrid
.
A 2012 Forme Longcliffe 3.0 (not the women's version as it's dearer for the same spec.), but with a shorter (80mm) stem & women's saddle. Cycles UK had it suitable reduced, and were good as gold at changing bits and letting her try it to get it setup right for her. Surprisingly the first time I've bought a new bike from the LBS having always used bike shows then ordered from online retailers before, a very pleasant experience smile

Thought I'd upgrade the roadie so scored some Mavic Ksyriums and some red Schwalbe Ultremo Zx's. Rode the wheels today on my old tires and they feel so much faster than my old Shimanos. Made the mistake of swinging past my LBS and I might have mistakenly ordered a SRAM Rival groupo for it

laugh

I am hoping they say something like 'you are a very nice, lightweight pair of wheels that look fantastic!' - but it is more likely they are going to say 'is this the fastest this fat arsed rider can go?'.....

Just got a Rapha winter jersey. Pretty heavy so will keep out the winter chill. Seems like a quality bit of kit & fits well. Hoping for a cold snap so I can get it on smile

yeah will do, in the meantime if you read through the mtb winter lights thread there are some pictures posted by others of lights as they come and in use.

Delivered by the birthday fairies this morning. Has a quick-release adaptor to go from wrist to bike mounts. Now to find some roads that no-one else on Strava has been on yet...

Popped into Sports Direct last night & got myself some padded shorts, a green & black jersey & some SPD SL shoes all in for £35.00. Only cheap Muddy fox gear but it's exactly what I wanted to see how I get on with the clipless pedals which I am collecting from Evans tomorrow.
