Fell foul of Amazon Prime day yesterday, therefore have Tacx rollers due to arrive tomorrow.

Might be an interesting conversation when I get home tomorrow, sold my turbo last week as I never used it.

Chain wear tool and some new Exustar PR100 pedals (Look Keo compatible) to replace the Keo Easys that were damaged (cosmetically) in a recent off.

These pedals are reckoned to be about as light as pedals get, lighter than the Carbon Blades and about the same as the Dura-Ace SPD-SLs. Having said that, I'm no weight weenie as they're only £20 and I'd define a WW as paying over the odds for fractional gains smile

Figured I'd replace my edge 80 with something that can do a bit more (oh and the screens cracked so had to be replaced wink )

Does that rack come with a weight limit for bikes? Ive been looking at them as ive been considering getting roof rails etc fitted, they both cost quite a bit but then i wont use the roof rails for anything else apart from lugging the pedal bikes around.
Doesn't it damage the roof?

I've had the one bike seasucker for a while now and I've not had any problems regarding damage. My only worry would be if the roof or the underside of the suckers were significantly dirty and that dirt was pressed into the roof. But as yet, no issues at all.

One thing to note however is security. You can take mine off in under five seconds I reckon... The (in my opinion overpriced) clip they do that fits over your window and allows you to use a cable lock is well worth it.

Curse you. I've broken my 'no Kickstarter' rule. Again.

Effectively 3 tyres for the price of 2 and it will be interesting to try combinations over summer/autumn/winter.

I have the Hans Dampf and Magic Mary on my Norco. Good grip but roll pretty quick too.

Its worth buying Schwalbe tyres just for the names! I bought some really cheap ones for my 16 year old MTB rebuilt. £9 each and I think they are called Black Jacks biggrin

Got knocked off my bike the other day and the helmet has a dent. Its 6 years old in September, so I figured that its time for a replacement. Went for high viz yellow as commuting in London is fairly dangerous and I think its worth being as visible as you can be.

New Fuji Road bike has ali bars and I've had carbon bars on my CX and road bike for a couple of years and I'm not used to the road buzz and the Fuji gives me tingly hands after an hour or so. Looks like some more 3T replicas will be on order soon. £33 and sub 200g. Whats not to like smile [url]

I'm intrigued by the MM/RR or HD/RR combo for this summer and MM/HD for a sloppy winter in the Surrey Hills.

Just hope the side knobs stay on the carcass!

I'm a big lump and have always had trouble bringing my mountain bikes to a stop no matter what pad, disc or even caliper I've tried.

Fingers crossed these will do the job front and rear -

Hope Tech3 V4 Downhill brakes with 203mm floating rotors.

Oh damn you! I've got a set of Topeak Nano's ( 4 - 6 Nm) but at 200g their heavy for their minuscule size, and I can't resist a bit of Ti!
