I use a wooden faced bench vice, haven't had a problem as long as the frame is square on to it.

yep, but not taken it apart yet - need to find a nice period of time and space where I won't be interrupted by the kids running off with bits and tools!

Sorry mate, been away with work and no 'net access. I got it from B&Q in the fixings aisle. It had the thread marked on it and I just bought some nuts with the same thread. It would have to be really shallow to not be able to push in the headset. All dead easy and as good as the Park one I have.
