What Bike. £400. Speccy Hardrock, Cube Aim, Trek or others?
Discussion
Budget is £400. Can only go through Halfords or Leisurelakes as it's C2W.
I cannot make up my mind between these 3
Trek 3700 Disc

Specialized Hardrock Disc

Cube Aim

I'm a brand we and a bit shallow, but Cube is winning out in terms of looks and brand while the Specialized is not too far behind. The Cube is more expensive but doesn't have discs.
It'll be mainly for commuting and light off road on weekends so I'd guess either would be good? Anyone got much to say about the Cube or trek. I know the Hardrock is well regarded...?

I can't speak for the other two, but I have a 2010 hardrock comp and love it. Done 130miles over a couple of days with no probs, plus various trail centres, and it's been a great companion.
I've resisted various upgrades so far and it's never let me down. Oh, I lie, I had a spate of punctures so chucked some slimed tubes on it.
