Think I am going for Rockhopper, any thoughts?

Been looking for a mountain bike, trying to keep costs down. Can get 2011 model for £699. Can you recommend anything better for this sort of money? Have also seen 2010 model for £599 but sizes/colour choice is limited. Cheers.

People say the 2010 spec bikes were generally better than the 2011 spec bikes so if you can get an earlier one in your size and you can live with the colour...

I cant fault Rockhoppers, ive got an 06 and an 08, the 08 is my main joy and easy to upgrade and get parts for, ive thought about getting an 11 or 12 rockhopper but cant see the point really, not with the spec mine is at due to 4 years of upgrades its not worth the expense,. i'll just go on a diet instead.
The 06 is just the dollop for going work on, cant be mithered spensing any money on it.
