My 12 years old son is devastated. There is simply no other word for it. He has been looking forward for weeks to getting a new bike. He has been flipping through catalogues and trawling the net.

In the end he decided the ideal bike for him was a Mongoose Pro BMX! He has been reading up on all the various cool tricks he can do on it. Apparently some of his friends swear by them!

However, for various (undisclosed) reasons the final choice rested with Mrs.911m!

911m junior was confident that he had left enough Mongoose 'propoganda' dotted around the house to subliminaly cement the deal! He was sure the cat was firmly in the bag.

He was sorely wrong.

911m junior has been banned from the garage yeaterday and overnight. I think he hardly slept a wink in anticipation of the Mongoose Pro filled days ahead. In fact his friends are popping around later for a celebratory bike ride. Mrs911m went out to the garage this morning and (under the cover of a blanket) wheeled in his prize!

As she pulled back the blanket we both looked on in anticipation

Me eek WTF????

911m junior frown

Me roflroflroflrofl

911m junior cry

911m junior and Mrs911m are at opposite ends of the house licking their wounds;

And I'm the bad one not being spoken to! hehe

Poor kid, I hope she kept the receipt....

Reminds me of the 007 watch I got for Christmas at about 15. To add insult to injury it didn't even play the bloody tune being a cheap market watch.

I feel for your son - but WTF did you let her buy that joke on two wheels?

You're a fking mug mate. Sorry to be blunt about it but that is a dad's work. You never should have left that to her.
