Tierp FIA event 1 person 4 days plus camping pay at gate Kr 1850 plus Kr 600 camping fee (3 nights) TOTAL COST Kr2450 / £237
Clucking Bell!!!I had no idea. I think Tierp are confusing Dragrace fans with F1 fans, I know the Swedes are used to paying more for some stuff but that really is a huge jump from the Pod. I wonder what the difference is between what they charged at Mantorp?? I think they might be asking too much. I suppose the answer will come this saeason, there's not a lot of point in investing in a brand new 20,000 stadium style dragstrip then having to price the tickets so high that they won't be filled by paying customers. A Tierp isn't the sort of thing that can be taken away by the repo' men though.
So, Lex Joon is going to America to try and run the full NHRA tour in 2013 (eurodragster.com today). Always sad to see the Top Fuel ranks in Europe depleted but I'm sure we'd all wish him the best of luck in fulfilling his dream. My one hope; you'll learn an immense ammount running with the pro's for a full season so I hope he takes a mainly European crew and that that knowledge and experience comes back to Europe after he's done.

Deja vu? I am sure I had that once...Looks like Urs Erbacher might be making way for someone else to occupy his seat in the dragster, things are a bit vague at the present with only a brief allusion to the possibility on facebook http://www.facebook.com/#!/UrsErbacher
I hate it when they do the "keep guessing" thing.

Now that I would love to see!!!! He needs monster or red bull as a sponsor, he suits that kinda ken block/ travis pastrana style!
I have thought for some time that Drag Racing would do better to promote itself in Europe as an "Extreme Motorsport" rather than a "Professional Motorsport".Flying Toilet said:
Yeah they 'just turned up' no doubt nothing to do with the hard work the Lindbergs did behind the scenes.
Wow change your tampon mate and calm down never said they didnt work hard for it which they obviously did for such a big company to sponsor them was just saying after no real intrest in our sport before theyve come on the scene which is brilliant that sort of sponsor works well in drag racingGassing Station | Drag Racing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
