Hey Folks,

the Entry List on dragracing.eu starts to fill and by now, where a lot will happen for sure, there are only 2 entries from the UK. Whats up guys? Who else is coming? No SSB enties so far! Would be nice if we could bring some life to this topic and the Nitros.

Cheers
Matt

I thought you said you preferred a clutch car as it gave you a wider tuning window. What's prompted the change?

basicaly even with vast budgets and unlimited track time not even big name us racers have had much sucess with the clutch/turbo combo
Chip king and Troy Coughlin are prime examples of racers who made the change to the Rossler 210 and went from nowhere to right up the front of the qualifying lists running 5.8s
we know our tracks are different and we have two different versions of the same thing coming to get us round this problem wink

we gave the clutch our best shot but now we feel its holding us back, for sure we could soldier on and get faster but when the writings on the wall you gotta take notice

Be great to see you do the whole tour next year Graham, hope that happens. I know it takes a lot of funds and organising and you have had your reservations about the increasing European dates... so great to see you taking it on.

very healthy bike fields already. even if there are no SSB listed yet. I think we will have a great field in hockenheim this year. looks like lots of swedes in the pro categories as well.

Good to see Urs in TF. Pity he didn't do the whole tour as one of the top characters in our sport... maybe next year.

The current entry list numbers will be ideal for a Hockenheim event as there are usually far too many vehicles for the available track time.

it depends. with 3 days of good weather they will get larger numbers done. I think this is about half the field yet. and already lots of full (8 car/bike) fields.

Nice to see Dave Wilson on the Hockenheim entry list.

Quite a few Brits in general in pro classes, good to see.

Whoop, whoop! What do you say about that? Full field of 8 TF Cars, 8 PS, 10 PSB, 11 STTF and close to full fields in TFB (!!!) TMD and TMFC as well as PM. 12 FB was the maximum nubers n entries in that class, Bracket categories also very well entered and still lots more to come. I guess we will get a full field of PM and also CC will fill to a at least 8 car field with John Bradshaw and Andy Raw as well as some common locals not in the mix yet. Still waiting for a sign of SSB yet.

Also the invitation form online states NFAA and TFFC doing show runs. any thoughts on that?

thats a pretty good idea andy. cause the crowd in hockenheim will finally love to see a blown VW funny car. get ready for some stadium atmosphere goosebump action!

any idea how complete sportsman entries on dragracing.eu are? cause if i remember the alastaro entry list more than half of the field, even in pro classes have been missing. cause i know at least 20 teams (including pro teams) entered not on the list yet. and those teams do not include any SSB and JD. so we are talking easily 200+ entries.
