European Finals

I think the Pro Mod turnout is going to be very dependant on how the chapionship is looking. Unless he does any damage at Hockenheim you can bet that Bruno Bader will be there, which will kind of force anyone else who has a shot at the championship to appear too. Barring that though I wouldn't count on the field being too different to the Main Event's.
I did hear from a n extremely knowledgeable source that Bruno wont be doing the second Tierp round due to funding, which will throw the championship wide open,
I hope he can make it But he seems to have had some gremlins this year and not running to his full potential to capitalize on his early and significant points lead,
So its not impossible that MG and some others may overhaul him if thats the case, then the santa pod field would look very different,
apart from that it would be plain fkin rude if the same thing happened again, but lets not pre judge....

version 2 is out now and some of the swedish hitters are already entered in pm and even a tmfc that never made it for the main eventI hope he can make it But he seems to have had some gremlins this year and not running to his full potential to capitalize on his early and significant points lead,

Will RG be licencing? Still a chance of a really interesting final couple of qualifying sessions. The missing swedes are still a disappointment IMO particularly Urban and the Lindbergs. Also a treat to have 4 Fuel Funny cars.
I think Urban's absence is more budget related than anything else really, hence why he wasn't in Hockenheim either. As for Johan, I think if he was more in contention championship-wise he'd be there. The days of people coming to the Pod purely to try and attack their PB at the Finals are behind us now unfortunately.Looking at the entry for Tierp in PM it is mainly made up of swedish top doorslammer teams and only 5 I think from 32 entiries are also entered for the Finals. With very few teams looking to do the championship each event is supplemented by local teams. In the UK this means a growing additional entry with more to come, so it is not all bad.
The TMD and TMFC entries are a bit poor but I expect the Habermans will make an appearance.

Sorry but you are wrongwell the fact is urban was never comming here this year and that was decieded last year,
the fact is also that at the moment tierp is faster than santa pod so no one will come from sweden to try to run a pb when they live in sweden,
so he must be eluding to the Lindberg bros,
maybe its about the story about the boys selling the Pro Mod and concentrating on TMFC with two brand new cars.... one each.........
