They did say no support vehicles ;-)If anyone wants to sign up, then send:

You're allowed to tow a trailer, but has to be pulled by the car you enter, no support vehicles (not that that really applies to us on here, except maybe ArnieVXR?)
Tyres, as G said, have to be MOT worthy, the car also has to be MOT'd, taxed, insured etc.
Pump fuel only. In all honesty if you wanted to run race fuel, you'd have to transport it all with you on your trailer, which isn't going to leave much room for anything else!

Will have to see about this one as those are dates ear marked for Florida next year.
Life's a bh. I'm sure Tattoogirl would rather stay in the UK.
By the way, there's no stopping that girl when it comes to Nine West shoes and hand bags and the factory outlets in Florida !

Shame, it clashes with the FIA Main Event
Few things I'd like to say from somebody that does genuinely use their race car on the road every day - even in the depths of winter (does ~10,000 miles per year):
No tyre swapping would be a pain, ET streets are legal on the road but certainly I wouldn't want to be caught in even a light rain shower with them on the back. Driving on the street for a long period shreds them too. You’d likely go through a set of £5-600 tyres in a weekend plus a second pair ready to be fitted (you can’t exactly get them from the local tyre place) just encase I got a puncture, or they wore out (they come with 5mm of tread from MT).
But with the tyre swapping brings me onto my next point:
No Support vehicles – not even to carry a set of wheels and tyres? I can't get all of my race stuff in my daily driven car as there is simply not enough space in it (if you include the second set of wheels and ET Streets). The boot is big for a sporty coupe and swallows and awful lot, but the aperture isn’t big enough (it’s a saloon boot lid not a hatch/fast back) to get one wheel and tyre in let alone two. Dropping the back seats isn’t an option as I have no way of securing the wheels and tyres and I don’t want them (plus the contents of the boot) coming forward and hitting me in the event of an accident or an emergency stop.
I understand why no support vehicles are allowed as it marks out a true street car if it can do it all on its own, but if a true daily driven street car (with a full interior and all the creature comforts) can’t get all of its stuff in, It puts those of us that don’t race trucks or a station wagons or have a tow bar for a small trailer at a marked disadvantage as you also have no storage place at the track for bags and kit either.

I thought so. Shame. That allows in race cars thinly disguised as "road cars" (i.e IMHO a street legal car is not necessarily suitable as a road car). I like to think of "road cars" as daily drivers that can be driven to the track, race, and drive home again under their own power.
I daily drive my car on MT Streets. They are road regal so I don''t see why not. 25 mile commute each day and drove over 5K miles on them in two months with some of that in downpours.Im looking forward to this event. Should be a great time with car and hopefully good weather!

I think the fuel rule got changed as a few of the cars run race maps with race fuels or 20%methanol mix etc.
I think you should check on EU fuel rules. I believe they state that only one fuel type can be used at a time, so running pump gas and methanol at the same time could well be illegal on UK roads. The rules aren't written very well as they class nitrous as a fuel!Gassing Station | Drag Racing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
