Summer Nationals 2014

Hi there...

I bought my tickets a couple of days ago as a birthday present for 'Mrs Goat' ( got away with it too !! )
We have camped at 'Pod' for years but decided that a hotel might be in order !!

So who else is going ?
Are you spectating or crewing or racing ??


Oh... and does anyone know what the heck to do in Wellingborough for a days entertainment ?? ( Friday 27th )

I'm going to be there, I'll be racing my Mustang in Sportsman ET

We stay at The Premier Inn in Wellingborough, though as far as a day’s entertainment goes not a clue, whenever we have been rained off as spectators we just sit in the pub

There is a peak performance test and tune day (RWYB on a fully race prepped track) on the Friday, I know this is limited numbers for drivers not sure if you can go an watch the testing.

Even that's possibly not going to be enough! In Q2 I was off the throttle by around 100ft and still coasted through to an 8.63! Quite quick, these fuel cars...

I will be there, masterminding my son's junior dragster debut (actually make that trying to look like I know what I am doing when I will be asking the Seamark's everything!).
As for entertainment and Wellingborough the two words are not normally synonymous....

He will be doing the points meets, I will be licensing during some test days later in the year, I'll let him figure the car out first

I'm not certain but I suspect he is talking about Gareth Ellis in the TMFC who has entered in Super Pro.
Would be interesting to see Gareth and Martyn Jones paired up.
