Has anyone any info on the brown P4 Rover that was at Shakey last weekend?

I feel the old straight 6 might struggle tp smoke the rear tyres....(could be wrong tho!)

Believe it runs a 460 Ford lump. Awesome sleeper car, no real noise or giveaway clues from outside.
Centre of the dash drops down to reveal extra gauges. Runs in the 12's.

Really love that car.

Hi, yes the gentleman above is spot on, its a 1962 rover P4 110 with a 1969 460 from a lincoln continental, stock bar a very mild comp cam. Theres a taller geared diff (2.83) in the original axle and stiffer shocks but apart from that its as it got rescued from a lean to in Shropshire about 5 years ago, plus lots of welding underneath. Up until this time last year for a couple years it had a SBC 355 and six speed manual in which was great to drive but not suited so well to the drag strip. That recent weekend at shakey was its first time out with the 460 in, typically the car just made it out in time for the last race of the year! Cheers.
