Have you ever cosidered what an amazing method of laundering money a high cash turnover business like a drag strip would make................. You could bank lorry loads of cash every month without raising any suspicion from your local branch of HSBC

Totally missed all this,was at Santa pod that weekend graham wrecked his Plymouth superbird,had to leave before it all went off though.
Was my favourite pro mod aswell after red victor.
Bit disappointed I won't see it this year.

I often wondered where all the money used to come from with some of the racers.Sponsors or no sponsors.Just start working out the costs.

I remember all the vehicles with ground off serial numbers and the police doing checks on the racing vehicles before entering the strip.

Then I would ask "where is joe bloggs was,is he not racing thie weekend"? and the answer was no he won't be racing he is doing 18 months for ringing vehicles.


And as for the Essex lot " awlright mite". I used to run a mile.

How can Drag Racing be brought into disrepute!
